Associated Exam
In order to obtain the Cisco CCIE certification, the candidate must pass both Cisco CCIE written and Cisco CCIE lab exams. You must make an initial attempt of the CCIE lab exam within 18-months of passing the CCIE written exam.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for the Cisco CCIE certification. The candidates are required to pass a written exam, followed by a lab exam. Having 3 to 5 years of job experience will be an added advantage.

For getting CCIE lab schedule, the candidates must have an authentic Cisco account, ID number, date and score of the written exam.
